Sri Lanka, April 25 -- A 33-year-old Sri Lankan, who was arriving from Bangkok, was arrested with 2,505 gms of Kush valued at Rs. 25 million at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).
The suspect has been identified as a resident of Colombo and employed as a professional photographer.
He was arrested while attempting to exit through the airport's Green Channel with the contraband.
Upon suspicion, officers from the Customs Narcotics Control Division inspected his luggage and discovered 2,505 gms of Kush meticulously concealed inside dried fruit packets, from which the original contents had been removed and replaced with the contraband.
