Sri Lanka, April 9 -- The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal, Ruwanthi Delpitiya, paid a joint courtesy call on Nepal's Prime Minister Balendra Shah, together with Heads of Diplomatic Missions based in Kathmandu.

The meeting was held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar.

During the meeting, the Ambassador extended warm congratulations on the successful conduct of Nepal's recent elections and the Prime Minister's decisive victory.

She also reaffirmed Sri Lanka's commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
