Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Selection Committee has officially announced a 15-member national squad to represent the island nation at the upcoming 2026 Asian Games. The national women's team will be led by veteran captain Chamari Athapaththu. Sri Lanka is set to begin their campaign on September 18, 2026, when they face the Malaysian Women's team in the third quarter-final of the tournament.

The 15-member squad consists of Chamari Athapaththu (Captain), Imesha Dulani, Sanjana Kavindi, Hansima Karunaratne, Harshitha Samarawickrama, Anushka Sanjeewani, Kaveesha Dilhari, Hasini Perera, Kaushini Nuthyangana, Nimasha Meepage, Sugandika Dasanayaka, Rashmika Sewwandi, Chamudi Praboda, Mithali Ayodhya and Kawya Kavindi....
