Sri Lanka, July 7 -- Sri Lanka Insurance Life (SLIC Life) has declared a record Rs.14.68 billion bonus to the policyholders for 2025, the highest annual life insurance bonus payout in Sri Lanka's insurance industry.
The latest declaration brings the company's cumulative bonus payouts since 2006 to Rs.131.28 billion, extending what it described as an unmatched record of delivering the industry's highest annual bonus over the years.
Sri Lanka's life insurance sector continues to compete for long-term savings amid a gradually improving economic environment, with the policyholder bonuses remaining a key measure of the insurers' ability to generate investment returns.
