Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- Sri Lanka and China are set to strengthen cooperation on immigration matters, with the Cabinet approving the signing of a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at facilitating business, investment, tourism and professional exchanges between the two countries.

The agreement between Sri Lanka's Department of Immigration and Emigration and China's National Immigration Administration is expected to improve coordination on visa, immigration and emigration matters affecting citizens involved in business, investment, technology and scientific activities.
