Sri Lanka, April 9 -- The Association of Medical Specialists (AMS) said the specialist doctors will not join the 48-hour island-wide strike, which was launched by the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA).
AMS Secretary Specialist Dr. R. Gnanasekaram said specialist doctors will continue their normal speclist medical services to the patients.
"We, as members of the Association, are not involved in any form of trade union action. We are continuing our normal speclist medical services to the pateints of this country," he said.
