Sri Lanka, June 18 -- Artificial intelligence is increasingly being used to understand complex public health and social challenges, including the persistent crisis of intentional injury mortality linked to homicide and suicide. A recently published international study has now applied explainable AI to examine this issue across the Americas, while highlighting the growing contribution of Sri Lankan academics to globally relevant research.
