Sri Lanka, Sept. 26 -- At least seven employees were injured and admitted to the Polonnaruwa General Hospital following a gas cylinder explosion in the kitchen of the Polonnaruwa National Nephrology Hospital.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 a.m. today.

According to the Polonnaruwa Police, the exact cause of the gas leak that led to the explosion has not yet been determined. Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
