Sri Lanka, Aug. 17 -- Manchester Super Giants clinched their first men's Hundred title with a five-wicket victory over Trent Rockets in a thrilling final at Lord's.

Chasing 159 for victory, Super Giants appeared firmly in control as Tim Seifert smashed a brilliant 72 off 38 balls to put the chase on track.

Seifert's explosive innings featured seven sixes and four fours before his dismissal briefly opened the door for the Rockets.

The Super Giants then suffered a late wobble, with Heinrich Klaasen and Michael Bracewell falling in quick succession to leave them needing three runs from the final three balls.

Liam Dawson held his nerve, smashing the next ball over mid-wicket for six to seal the title with two deliveries to spare.
