SriLanka, July 27 -- The Sri Lankan Rupee depreciated slightly against the US Dollar today (27), according to the latest exchange rates released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The buying rate of the US Dollar rose marginally from Rs. 331.62 last Friday to Rs. 331.66, while the selling rate increased from Rs. 340.79 to Rs. 340.83.

The Rupee also weakened against a basket of major foreign currencies but recorded slight gains against several Gulf currencies, the Central Bank's exchange rates showed.
