Sri Lanka, March 6 -- Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya said today that the government is conducting a Post-Disaster Needs Assessment on the damage caused by Cyclone Ditwah and that its report will be available by the end of this month.

She told Parliament that the assessment is being done with the support of international institutions based on international standards.

The Prime Minister said the Post-Disaster Needs Assessment will help identify middle and long-term measures to recover the damages caused by the disaster.
