Sri Lanka, Sept. 21 -- Colombo, Sep 21 (Daily Mirror) - resident Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to depart for the United States tomorrow (22) night to participate in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the visit, the President will address the General Assembly on Wednesday (24) at 3.15 pm local time and engage in bilateral discussions with the UN Secretary-General and several world leaders.
President Dissanayake is also scheduled to meet with Sri Lankans residing in the United States. He will be accompanied on this visit by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath.
