Sri Lanka, April 11 -- Police have introduced a dedicated WhatsApp number for the public to submit videos and information related to reckless and dangerous driving incidents.
According to the Police Media Division, the initiative aims to enhance road safety by enabling citizens to directly assist authorities in identifying traffic violations.
Members of the public can send relevant videos and details to 070-4755600. Police have requested that, whenever possible, submissions include the date, location, and the relevant police division to facilitate prompt action.
The Police Media Division urged the public to make use of this platform responsibly to support efforts in curbing dangerous driving and improving overall road discipline.
