Sri Lanka, April 16 -- The Acting Magistrate of Kalutara, Bandula Weerasinghe, yesterday (15) ordered that a patient accused of sexually assaulting a female doctor at the Nagoda Teaching Hospital be remanded until April 27.
The suspect, a resident of Thannahena, Samagipura, Mahagama, had initially been admitted to the Pimbura Base Hospital with a head injury before being transferred to Nagoda Teaching Hospital for further treatment. He was receiving treatment in Ward No. 22 at the time of the incident.
