Sri Lanka, Aug. 7 -- The Opposition announced plans to submit a no-confidence motion (NCM) against Deputy Defence Minister Aruna Jayasekera on Monday, warning that further disclosures will be made if he refuses to resign.
Speaking at a media conference, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Mujibur Rahman said the motion aims to ensure an impartial investigation into the 2019 Easter Sunday bomb attacks. He urged the Deputy Minister to step down to facilitate a transparent and credible inquiry.
