Sri Lanka, March 24 -- A group of Opposition politicians, including Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, SLPP National Organiser Namal Rajapaksa and former President Ranil Wickremesinghe have sought the assistance of international organisations to re-establish the declining law and order in the country. All three leaders have signed a letter to international organisations, including the Office of the High Commission of Human Rights UN.

The letter has been dispatched to the International Bar Association, Commonwealth Lawyers' Association, the International Commission of Jurists, International Association of Young Lawyers, International Association of Democratic Lawyers, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, International Federation of...
