Sri Lanka, Sept. 24 -- Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya said the unity of the National People's Power (NPP) parliamentary group would be clearly demonstrated during tomorrow evening's vote on the 22nd Amendment.

Addressing Parliament, she dismissed reports of divisions within the NPP as false news, stressing that the party remains committed to a common objective.

"We do not have personal agendas. We have a common objective. Everyone will see the unity of all 158 members tomorrow evening," she said.
