Sri Lanka, Sept. 19 -- Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, Ramalingam Chandrasekar made a strong statement against corruption, stating that there will be no forgiveness for politicians who have engaged in bribery, fraud and looting of public assets.
"They will never escape the clutches of the law," the Minister said while addressing the public during the inauguration ceremony of the Colombuthurai Jetty reconstruction project.
The long-awaited reconstruction work of the Colombuthurai Jetty officially commenced today in Jaffna. The inaugural event was attended by Minister Chandrasekar alongside Minister Bimal Ratnayaka, and Northern Provincial Governor N. Vedanayagam.
