Sri Lanka, Oct. 5 -- For years, Sri Lankans complained about the state of public transport. We complained about buses that were old, uncomfortable and unsafe. We complained about the high steps that made getting into a bus difficult for elderly passengers. We complained about overcrowding, poor maintenance and the general condition of public transport.
And quite rightly, we complained.
