Sri Lanka, June 4 -- The Railways Department has announced temporary traffic restrictions at the Nawammahara railway crossing near the Horape Sub-Station on the main railway line due to essential renovation work.

According to the department, the crossing, located at Mile 08, Chain 05, will be subject to the following traffic restrictions between 8.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on the specified dates:

June 5, 2026 - Vehicular traffic will be partially restricted. June 6, 2026 - Vehicular traffic will be completely restricted. June 7, 2026 - Vehicular traffic will be partially restricted.
