Srilanka, June 28 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya said that national progress requires collective effort and a shared commitment from all sectors of society.

She made these remarks while participating as the Chief Guest at the 48th Annual Sessions of the Institution of Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka (IIESL), held at the BMICH on June 27.

The Prime Minister said that the advancement and continuous improvement of higher education remain key responsibilities in building a knowledgeable, skilled and capable society.
