Sri lanka, Oct. 2 -- Colombo, October 2 (Daily Mirror) - Claiming that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has not officially handed over his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha as yet, Minister Nalinda Jayatissa said action will be taken regarding the matter by the respective Ministry.
He told reporters that three weeks have elapsed since the former President vacated the residence and that he is yet to officially hand it over to the Public Administration Ministry.
The former President vacated the Wijerama residence last month enacting the Bill to abolish special benefits granted to former Presidents.
