Sri Lanka, June 23 -- Lionel Messi has become the FIFA World Cup's all-time leading goalscorer after scoring twice in Argentina's 2-0 victory over Austria. The 38-year-old captain raised his tournament tally to 18 goals, surpassing Germany legend Miroslav Klose's long-standing record and helping La Albiceleste secure a place in the Round of 32.
