SriLanka, Nov. 14 -- Maris Stella College Thimbirigaskatuwa emerged champion of the Under 15 Division Three inter-school cricket tournament with a comfortable first innings win over Ganthiriyagama Mahinda Maha Vidyalaya in the final played at DS Senanayake College ground Wijerama Mawatha Colombo.

The tournament had the participation of 690 teams around the island.

Ganthiriyagama Mahinda Maha Vidyalaya taking first lease of the wicket were wrecked by left arm spinner Biwan Fernando who had figures of 6 for 10 bowling them out for a paltry 44 runs.
