Sri Lanka, Aug. 2 -- The poor enforcement of the Immigrants and Emigrants Act has led to foreign nationals from countries such as Israel, India and Russia engaging in employment activities and business operations in blatant violation of the law, the Daily Mirror learns.

The Sri Lanka tourism authorities have now planned to extend free visa entry into the country for nationals from 40 different countries, in addition to a few other countries to which the facility has already been extended to.
