Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings for Colombo,Kalutara and Kegalle districts following adverse weather conditions prevailing in some parts of the country.

The warnings will be in effect until 10.00 a.m. tomorrow (16), the NBRO said.

Accordingly, the warnings have been issued for Seethawaka in Colombo district, Dodangoda, Bulathsinhala, Beruwala, Ingiriya, Mathugama, Palindanuwara and Walallawita in Kalutara districts and Warakapola and Ruwanwella in Kegalle district.

The NBRO said the warnings were issued under Level 1, urging residents in the affected areas to remain vigilant over possible landslide risks.
