Sri Lanka, May 11 -- The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings for five districts following adverse weather conditions prevailing across the country.

The warnings will be in effect until 9.00 p.m. today (11), the NBRO said.

Accordingly, the warnings have been issued for Passara in the Badulla District, Ridigama in the Kurunegala District, Naula, Ambanganga Korale and Rattota in the Matale District, Badalkumbura and Wellawaya in the Moneragala District and Godakawela in the Ratnapura District.

The NBRO said the warnings were issued under Level 1, urging residents in the affected areas to remain vigilant over possible landslide risks.
