Sri Lanka, July 14 -- The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation's (SLBC) Kotmale S.L.B. Media Academy will complete 10 years of service today (July 15), having trained nearly 1,000 students through its radio education programmes.

According to the station officer in charge of the academy, Kapila Kumara Arathtana, the institution has conducted 54 residential media courses since its establishment.

Students from across Sri Lanka representing various fields, including mass communication undergraduates and communication professionals from government and non-government organisations, have participated in the programmes.
