Kite flying near airports strictly prohibited
Sri Lanka, July 6 -- Authorities have reminded the public that flying kites or any other airborne devices above 300 feet within a five-kilometer radius of Sri Lanka's international airports is strictly prohibited due to the serious risks posed to aviation safety and public security.
In a notice issued by Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, officials warned that such activities could interfere with aircraft operations and endanger the lives of passengers, crew members, and individuals on the ground.
