Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- A complaint has been lodged by an Inspector of Police attached to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), claiming that he was verbally abused and threatened by Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, also known as "Harak Kata"-a well-known organized criminal and large-scale drug trafficker over a missing carbon pen.
According to senior police officials, the incident occurred yesterday (4) when the suspect was temporarily escorted out of his cell for a scheduled bathing session around 8:00 a.m. During a routine inspection of the prison premises, a carbon pen was discovered. However, after Harak Kata returned from his bath, the pen was found to be missing.
