Indices close in green
Sri Lanka, Aug. 13 -- The ASPI edged up as a result of price gains in counters such as Dialog Axiata, National Development Bank and Dipped Products with the turnover crossing Rs. 2.1 Bn.
Meanwhile, the S&P SL20 closed in green. Crossings were witnessed in Melstacorp, John Keells Holdings and Sampath Bank accounting for 44.6% of the turnover.
Mixed interest was observed in Sierra Cables, Seylan Bank nonvoting and Dipped Products whilst retail interest was noted in Softlogic Finance, HNB Finance and Renuka Agri Foods. Furthermore, foreigners remained active closing as net buyers.
