Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- Indian Foreign Secretary Shri Vikram Misri arrived in Colombo today for a one-day official visit to Sri Lanka.

During his visit, Misri is scheduled to call on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath, among other senior officials.

The visit is expected to further strengthen the close bilateral ties between India and Sri Lanka, while building on ongoing high-level engagements and advancing key areas of cooperation between the two countries.
