Srilanka, June 21 -- India A defeated Sri Lanka A by 66 runs to clinch the Tri-Nation A-Series trophy at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Sunday.

After Sri Lanka A won the toss and elected to field, India A piled up a formidable 377 for 9 in their allotted 50 overs. The innings was headlined by a sensational knock from 15-year-old opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who smashed 94 off just 29 balls, including a stunning half-century in only 11 deliveries. He narrowly missed out on a century but left the hosts under immense pressure with one of the most explosive innings seen at this level.
