Sri Lanka, Oct. 13 -- Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Harsha de Silva clarified that despite government claims, the Suwa Seriya ambulance service is not his personal property.

Addressing the media, Silva said that any decision to change the name or colour of the Suwa Seriya service should not involve him.

"Suwa Seriya is a brand. When we created it, every possible accusation was levelled against us. Time, efforts and significant funds went into building this brand. There is no problem with the service as it stands. If the government wants to change its name or colour claiming it is Harsha's property, that is meaningless," he said.
