Sri Lanka, Oct. 25 -- Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa has said that strengthening primary healthcare remains a core priority under the government's health policy, as Sri Lanka works to curb the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
Speaking yesterday at the first meeting of the National Council on Non-Communicable Diseases for 2025, the Minister noted that the Arogya Wellness Center Project plays a key role in supporting early detection and care for vulnerable communities at the grassroots level.
