Sri Lanka, April 13 -- A shipment of fuel oil required for electricity generation arrived at the Colombo Port Dolphin Jetty last evening aboard the vessel Sea Adventure.
The ship is carrying approximately 30,000 metric tons of fuel oil, officials said.
Authorities confirmed that the process of transferring the fuel stock to the Kolonnawa oil storage complex has already commenced.
The consignment is expected to support ongoing power generation requirements in the country.
