Sri Lanka, Sept. 29 -- Former Chairman of the National Transport Commission, Renuka Perera, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption in connection with a corruption allegation, was released on bail by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.

He was ordered to be released on two surties of Rs. 5 million each.
