Sri Lanka, Sept. 24 -- Former Krrish Group director Janaki Siriwardena, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) over an alleged Rs. 70 million bribe paid to Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, was ordered to be remanded until October 6 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.

The Magistrate also directed the Prison Superintendent to facilitate CIABOC officials in recording a statement from Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, who is currently in remand custody, in connection with the investigation.
