Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has arrested former Fisheries Corporation Chairman Maheel Senaratne over allegations of irregularities in the procurement process related to fish sales centres established islandwide.

Senaratne, who served as Chairman of the Fisheries Corporation from 2010 to 2012, was arrested in connection with the alleged mishandling of procurement activities carried out for the fish sales centres.
