Sri Lanka, Feb. 28 -- The Foreign Affairs Ministry said that it is maintaining close contact with all Sri Lankan diplomatic missions across the Middle Eastern region and continues to closely monitor ongoing developments.

According to the Ministry, Sri Lankan missions in the region have established emergency hotlines to enable Sri Lankans to remain in contact with their respective missions in case of any urgent requirements. The heads of missions are also in continuous communication with the Foreign Ministry in Colombo.

The Ministry said that, so far, there has been no significant impact reported on Sri Lankans residing in the Middle Eastern region.
