Sri Lanka, Feb. 8 -- A fire erupted at a scrap metal collection shop near Dewata Junction in Galle earlier today.

According to police, three fire engines were deployed to the scene to contain the blaze.

Firefighters are currently working to bring the situation under control.

The incident has led to severe traffic congestion along the Galle-Matara main road, with motorists advised to use alternate routes where possible.
