Sri Lanka, Feb. 9 -- The case filed by the Attorney General against Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his grandmother Daisy Forrest, on allegations of committing an offence under the Anti-Money Laundering Act, was recalled by High Court Judge Rashmi Singappuli today and scheduled for April 24.

Representing the petition, State Counsel Oswald Perera informed court that the expert medical report from the Colombo Court Medical Officer, summoned to assess whether the accused, Daisy Forrest, is mentally fit to attend the trial, has not yet been received.

Accordingly, the counsel requested that a new date be fixed for the case once the report is submitted.
