Sri Lanka, Aug. 7 -- After the completion of the league matches of the Under 18 Elite Rugby Sevens tournament at the Royal Sports Complex ground in Reid Avenue, the eight teams to qualify for the Cup quarter finals were found after the fancied St. Joseph's College went down to the unfancied Maliyadeva College.

The eight teams to make it to the knockout stage were Ananda, St Peter's. Isipathana, Trinity, Zahira, Kingswood, Maliyadeva and DS Senanayake.
