Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- Edelweiss Air has resumed its winter flight operations to Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), reconnecting Switzerland and Sri Lanka with three weekly flights for the winter season.

Passengers arriving on the flights were welcomed with a vibrant traditional Kandyan dance performance organised by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, showcasing Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage and offering visitors a warm welcome.

The resumption of services is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Switzerland and Sri Lanka while supporting the country's tourism industry during the winter travel season.
