Sri Lanka, Aug. 17 -- Salvage preparations are underway to recover the Sri Lanka Navy Fast Attack Craft that sank off Angulana, as a special board of experts appointed by the Navy Commander begins a formal investigation into the incident, the Navy said.

The Navy has located the capsized vessel and launched a major salvage operation to bring the craft to the surface before it is towed to the Colombo Port. However, rough sea conditions pose challenges to the recovery operation.
