Srilanka, Aug. 28 -- Sri Lanka stands at a crucial point in its history. After years of economic difficulties, political uncertainty and declining public confidence, the country needs the government to provide stability, restore investor confidence and deliver meaningful improvements to the lives of its people. While accountability for past wrongdoing is important, the Government must ensure that its pursuit of those responsible does not overshadow the equally urgent task of national development.
