Sri Lanka, July 23 -- While saying that the dengue vaccine is not a solution to the current dengue epidemic, Consultant Physician Dr. Ananda Wijewickrama urged the public to seek immediate medical attention if they develop symptoms in order to reduce fatalities.

Speaking to Daily Mirror, Dr. Wijewickrama said the increasing number of mosquito breeding sites continues to drive the spread of the disease, making vector control the most important measure in curbing the outbreak.
