Sri Lanka, July 22 -- The Defence Adviser to the High Commission of India in Colombo, Captain M Anand called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Damian Fernando at the Navy Headquarters today, 22 July 2026.

During the discussion that followed, Captain Anand conveyed his best wishes to Vice Admiral Fernando on reaching the apex of his naval career. Thereupon, they exchanged views on matters of bilateral interests and recalled the longstanding relations between the navies of two countries.

The cordial discussion came to an end with an exchange of mementoes.
