Sri Lanka, Sept. 25 -- The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) sustained its positive momentum on Thursday, with the ASPI advancing 182.61 points (+0.86%) to 21,521.06 and the S&P SL20 gaining 21.52 points (+0.35%) to 6,102.58. Investor activity remained robust, supported by a healthy turnover of LKR 9.29 Bn as 261.28 Mn shares changed hands.

Crossings contributed LKR 1.75 Bn (18% of total turnover). The largest crossing by value was recorded in CHOT.N with LKR 410 Mn, while UBC.N posted the highest volume crossing with 25 Mn shares traded.

The Banking sector dominated activity, accounting for 24% of total turnover, mainly driven by NTB.N, which generated LKR 674.28 Mn.
