Sri Lanka, April 13 -- The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) said that its special raid and investigation programme launched for the festive season will continue until April 30.

According to CAA Director of Information and Consumer Affairs, Asela Bandara, the authority has maintained a strong enforcement presence since the programme began on March 20. Within less than a month, nearly 2,000 raids have been carried out islandwide, targeting traders accused of causing inconvenience or financial loss to the public.
